Biography
Andrew Fusco is the Chief Strategy Officer for ElectriCities of NC. In this role he is responsible for services provided to ElectriCities? Members, long-term strategic planning, ElectriCities? renewable energy program, emerging technology development, and safety and training. In his prior roles with ElectriCities, Mr. Fusco has been responsible for resource planning, market modeling, load forecasting, power plant construction, and NERC compliance. Prior to joining ElectriCities, Mr. Fusco worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory, General Dynamics-Electric Boat Division, and IBM. He holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Duke University.

Nur brings over 14 years of energy industry and datacenter experience to his role at Cloverleaf. Previously serving as the Director of Energy Strategy at Microsoft, Nur honed his expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and delivering innovative energy solutions. He has a proven track record for successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the United States, Ireland, Netherlands, and Canada. Nur has successfully negotiated transmission connection agreements to deliver more than 2 GW of datacenter capacity and most recently led the energy strategy for Microsoft?s AI datacenter project in Racine County, Wisconsin. Before joining Microsoft, Nur gained valuable experience as an Energy Trader at The Energy Authority and Seattle City Light.

Valerie Clemmey is the Marketing and Communications Manager for SELCO, Shrewsbury's municipal utility, where she brings over eight years of experience serving both the Town of Shrewsbury and SELCO. A Shrewsbury native, she is passionate about community engagement and highlighting the value of public power and the people behind it to community members and the broader public. She holds a bachelor?s degree in Business Administration from Worcester State University and a Certificate in Local Government and Leadership from Suffolk University and the Massachusetts Municipal Association. Her previous experience includes communications and administrative roles in municipal government and the private electric sector.

Kevin is the Energy Resources Manager at Belmont Municipal Light Department, a community?owned electric utility in Massachusetts. He leads the utility's demand-side management programs, evaluates power-supply opportunities, and oversees Belmont's electric vehicle charging initiatives. He recently co-authored a case study and appeared on an accompanying American Public Power Association podcast focused on load research. He also earned Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership Gold certification for Belmont Light and served as a featured speaker for a Plug In America webinar. Before joining Belmont Light, Kevin worked as a Design Specialist at ReVision Energy, helping homeowners electrify their buildings with heat pumps, solar PV, and energy-storage systems. Earlier in his career at the University of Massachusetts Boston, he supported an Environmental Protection Agency grant that partnered with Massachusetts breweries to advance conservation and sustainability practices. Kevin holds a graduate certificate in Clean Energy and Sustainability, an MA from the University of Rochester, and a BM from Oberlin College. Prior to entering the energy sector, he taught in the Harmony Department at Berklee College of Music.

Katelyn Leahy Barb is the Senior Manager of Energy Transformation at Energy New England (ENE), where she leads programs in transportation electrification, marketing, and commercial efficiency. With a background spanning mathematics and education, and credentials as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Katelyn is known for bridging technical concepts with practical, community?focused implementation. A collaborative partner to municipal light plants and industry stakeholders, she translates complex information into clear, actionable strategies that advance beneficial electrification and decarbonization. She also actively supports women?s leadership in the sector as a current committee member and formerly as Board Member and Mentorship Chair for the Council of Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL).

Biography
Rachel Cortez is an Associate Managing Director with the Global Project & Infrastructure Finance Group of Moody's Ratings. She manages a sizeable portfolio of US municipal public power utilities, joint action agencies, and generation and transmission cooperatives. Previously, Rachel was the manager of Moody's Chicago-based public finance analytical team, where she covered tax-backed and revenue-secured debt issued by municipalities and water and sewer utilities. Prior to joining Moody's in 2005, Rachel spent five years with CGI American Management Systems, where she implemented budget and financial management systems for state and local governments. She was also a Medicaid analyst with the State of Illinois and spent several years working in not-for-profit development. Rachel currently serves on the board of the Chicago chapter of Women in Public Finance. She was President of the Chicago Municipal Analysts Society and served on the board of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. Rachel received an MPA from Syracuse University and a BA from Cornell University.

David Bodek is a Managing Director and Sector Leader of S&P Global Ratings' Public Power and Electric Cooperative practice.David speaks frequently at industry conferences, discusses credit opinions with utilities, their financial intermediaries, and investors, actively monitors the credit ratings of a portfolio of high-profile public power and electric cooperative utilities, provides analytical guidance to colleagues, chairs rating committees, and develops rating methodologies.
David also gained extensive experience at S&P Global Ratings performing credit analyses for investor-owned utilities, their unregulated affiliates, and energy sector project-financings.

Jason Viadero

Jason Viadero is responsible for managing and expanding MMWEC's fleet of front of the meter generation assets including combined cycle and simple cycle gas turbines, onshore wind and solar generation projects. Mr. Viadero also oversees MMWEC's entitlements as joint owners in Seabrook and Millstone 3 nuclear projects. In addition to management of MMWEC'ss front of the meter resources, Mr. Viadero is also responsible for the development of new distributed energy resources with a focus on energy storage for demand management and distributed solar. This includes the portfolio of 50+ megawatts of energy storage installed or under contract with Lightshift Energy and installed across 14+ municipal light plants in Massachusetts. Prior to joining MMWEC in 2016, Mr. Viadero served as the Product Line Manager for cast and fabricated products for Rodney Hunt-Fontaine Company in Orange, Massachusetts. In his career with RHF, Mr. Viadero held multiple positions in the company with a focus on the design and construction of heavy steel and stainless-steel gates and valves for flood control, dam and hydropower applications. Mr. Viadero holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University, and is a Massachusetts registered Professional Engineer.

Andrew Phillips currently serves as Director, Business Development, Region North for Wärtsilä Energy where he leverages his 15 plus years of experience in power generation to focus on the traditional utility customer segment. Andrew received his Bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and went on to complete GE?s Commercial Leadership Program. Between GE and Wärtsilä, he has held roles in engineering, proposal development, long term service agreements, account management, and new plant sales. Andrew lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
