Headshot of Abbey Hayward

The Monster Detective Collective for Public Power Week was a win-win. [Community partner] Pajarito Environmental Education Center took the Public Power Learning Lab into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classrooms to discuss electricity with students. They talked about where Los Alamos gets its power, why it's important to conserve electricity, and ways to conserve at home. Students were very engaged while interacting with the program and all the monsters.
