Nominations for the American Public Power Association’s Policy Makers Council are being accepted through November 21, 2025.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas Inc. on Oct. 2 announced it has selected GE Vernova to participate in a Proof-of-Concept implementation of the ERCOT Distribution Awareness Platform (EDAP) as part of ERCOT’s Grid Research, Innovation, and Transformation (GRIT) efforts.

Public power entities in Massachusetts are voicing support for an initiative unveiled on Oct. 2 in Massachusetts under which the state is teaming up with University of Massachusetts Lowell to develop “Advanced Nuclear and Fusion Energy Roadmaps” to accelerate the state’s leadership in advanced nuclear and fusion energy technologies.
