Washington State’s Snohomish County PUD is inviting community members to celebrate the completion of three significant infrastructure improvement projects benefiting the Camano Island and Stanwood communities at a ribbon cutting on Dec. 11.

Idaho Falls Power on Dec. 4 marked a historic milestone for the public power utility as it celebrated the official launch of its new 17.5 megawatt natural gas Peaking Plant, "an investment that strengthens local energy reliability while honoring 125 years of public-power tradition," it said.

The PJM Interconnection opened the bidding window on Dec. 4 for its auction to procure capacity for the June 2027 through May 2028 Delivery Year.

By combining flexible grid connections with bring-your-own capacity (BYOC) arrangements, data centers can reach full operation years sooner while maintaining reliability and improving affordability for all customers, a new report said.
