Public power communities are included among the fourth round of award recipients recently announced by the U.S. Department of Energy through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program.

Grid operators across the U.S. are detailing their plans to respond to a total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8, as well as projecting the expected impact of the eclipse on their grids.
