The North American Energy Standards Board in August held its second industrywide meeting to develop a standardized contract for the sale and purchase of hydrogen.

The Board of Directors of South Carolina’s Santee Cooper on Aug. 27 authorized management to submit an application to the South Carolina Public Service Commission related to the potential expansion of the utility’s Rainey Generating Station, located in Iva, S.C.

The Grand River Dam Authority, Oklahoma’s largest public power utility, is working in conjunction with the third largest industrial park in the United States, the MidAmerica Industrial Park, to bring a new data center partner/operator to Northeast Oklahoma.

The American Public Power Association is asking its members to help populate a map that will allow congressional members and staff to search for projects financed with municipal bonds in their own state and congressional district.
