New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on June 12 announced over $5 million is now available for long duration energy storage projects through New York State’s Renewable Optimization and Energy Storage Innovation Program.

The Clean Power Alliance Board of Directors has approved two 20-year power purchase agreements with BHE Renewables, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy.
