A new building in White, South Dakota, will house local emergency preparedness, planning and response services.

San Antonio, Texas-based public power utility CPS Energy has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement with Genesis Consolidated Industries Holdings for a 150-megawatt solar project called “Exodus 1.”

The U.S. Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service on Jan. 19 released additional guidance aimed at providing clarity on eligibility for tax incentives to install electric vehicle charging stations and other alternative fuel refueling stations.

The Department of the Interior on Jan. 17 announced an updated roadmap for solar energy development across the West, which is “designed to expand solar energy production in more Western states and make renewable energy siting and permitting on America’s public lands more efficient,” it said.
