The American Public Power Association is offering its member utilities a wide variety of resources to help them highlight and celebrate Public Power Week 2025, which is October 5-11.

The City Council of Norwich, Connecticut, recently approved the issuance of $150 million of revenue bonds for electric capital projects that will be pursued by Norwich Public Utilities, a public power utility.

Tom Dankert will be taking the lead at Minnesota public power utility Austin Utilities on October 6. Mark Nibaur, Austin Utilities General Manager for the last 15 years, retired on September 18.
