Nebraska public power utility Omaha Public Power District is making good progress with its advanced metering infrastructure initiative and associated technology upgrades.

Kerrville Public Utility Board, a Texas public power utility, has once again earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the 2024 fiscal year, it said on Jan. 7.

The Imperial Irrigation District’s (IID) Cook Street Substation project continues to move forward as the Palm Desert City Council has unanimously approved a cost-share agreement, reaching an important milestone that paves the way for growth and development in the region, the California public power utility reported.
