Argan Inc. recently announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Gemma Power System, received a notice to proceed on its previously announced engineering, procurement and construction services contract with Sandow Lakes Energy Company, LLC of Rockdale, Texas, for a 1.2-gigawatt ultra-efficient natural gas-fired plant in Lee County, Texas.

Bills and Rates
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission approved annual rates for its two power services, with no change for over 380,000 CleanPowerSF electricity customers -- representing 98% of all customers -- and a 10 percent increase for approximately 6,300 Hetch Hetchy Power municipal, commercial, and residential customers.
