The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority Governing Board on Dec. 12 approved a $1.52 million expenditure for the replacement of a transformer at the Richmond Power Plant on St. Croix.

The New York Power Authority and Texas public power utility CPS Energy are among the utilities and companies that are founding members of the public-private Mercury Consortium.

Texas public power utility Kerrville Public Utility Board announced the promotion of Amy Dozier to the position of assistant general manager.
