Southwest Power Pool’s board of directors recently approved an industry expert panel (IEP) recommendation for Transource Oklahoma, LLC with Transource Energy, LLC to build the Mathewson-to-Redbud transmission project.

Providing value to customers and a governance structure that preserves the benefits of the Federal Columbia River Power System are the key reasons the Bonneville Power Administration announced that it will pursue joining the Southwest Power Pool’s Markets+ day-ahead market, BPA said on May 9.

At its May 6 meeting, the Southwest Power Pool Board of Directors approved SPP’s proposed Expedited Resource Adequacy Study, or ERAS.
