The New York Power Authority has issued a Request for Proposals for the delivery of renewable energy into New York City through the Hudson Transmission Project, a 660-megawatt primarily underground and underwater transmission line that runs between Ridgefield, New Jersey and New York City.
The RFP seeks to identify renewable energy developers or suppliers interested in delivering renewable energy resources into New York through the HTP cable.
NYPA will also consider a wide array of proposals to aid in the delivery of renewable energy through the project, including proposals that incorporate storage solutions—standalone or co-located with generating facilities.
Responses for this RFP should be sent to [email protected] by Friday, November 1, 2024.
Additional information can be found on the Power Authority’s Procurement webpage.
