Florida public power utility KEYS Energy Services relaunched its popular rebate program for energy efficient appliances and equipment on October 1.
The program consists of 14 rebates, including a $350 electric vehicle charger rebate, with an additional $50 efficiency rebate if the charger is Energy Star certified.
Other rebates include: Hot Water Heater Timer ($25); Programmable Thermostat ($25); Ceiling Fan ($25); White Roof Coating ($25); Dehumidifier ($50); Dishwasher ($55); Room Air Conditioner ($75); Refrigerator ($75); Clothes Washer ($100); Duct Leak Repair or Replacement ($150); Ductless Air Conditioner ($175); Central Air Conditioner ($250); and Solar Hot Water Heater ($450).
The terms of the rebate program allow customers to receive more than one rebate within a designated timeframe.
Rebates will be awarded to eligible customers on a first-come, first-served basis. The rebate program will sunset once funding has been exhausted.
Since 2008, KEYS has provided $1.4-million in rebates to its customers.
