Cleveland Public Power on May 20 held an information session for its Internship to Apprenticeship Program, which launched in 2008.
Students that have participated in the program have been placed in apprenticeships for lineworker, meter installer, cable splicers and line helper drivers, said CPP spokesperson Shelley Shockley.
CPP utilized posts on Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram to get the word out about the information session.
The Linkedin post notes that more than 100 students have passed through this program.
