Event Overview
This one‑hour webinar is designed for public power utilities that need help developing or strengthening their cyber incident response plans. This webinar will walk participants through how to use APPA’s newly-updated Cybersecurity Incident Response Playbook (CIRP) and newly-released CIRP Fundamentals Guide (FG) as practical, step‑by‑step resources to improve response capacity.
Whether your utility is refining an existing incident response plan or starting from scratch, this webinar will help show how the CIRP or FG can serve as a foundation. Speakers will highlight why having a cyber incident response plan is essential and demonstrate how utilities of all sizes and levels of cyber maturity can apply guidance from the Playbook or Fundamentals Guide.
Participants will leave with greater confidence in using APPA’s CIRP/FG to build or improve their own incident response plans, policies, and procedures and better prepare their utility to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents.
