Event Overview
Federal infrastructure funding comes with strings attached — and for public power utilities, demonstrating Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliance is increasingly critical to securing and retaining grants.
This session introduces NEMA's Make It American™️ certification program and how it can simplify your path to compliance and verification of BABA compliant products. We'll walk through the third-party audit and certification framework, explain how manufacturers are using it to verify domestic content, and share real examples of how applicants can incorporate Make It American™️ into their federal assistance documentation.
Whether you're navigating an active grant application or preparing for future funding opportunities, you’ll learn about a practical tool to help identify BABA compliant manufacturers and products in your supply chain. The session will close with a Q&A and an opportunity to share feedback that will help shape practical implementation of the program going forward.
