APPA’s Energy Transition Community Working Group (ETCWG) is designed to facilitate discussion, evaluate opportunities, and define barriers to the transition to a high resilience and low emissions electricity delivery system while maintaining reliability, affordability, and safety for public power utilities. This is being done under funding APPA received from the Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity. This year, the ETCWG is helping to facilitate the creation of briefs on issues such as transportation electrification, energy storage, and demand management, as well as toolkits on these same topics. The ETCWG meets once every two months.

If you would like to volunteer to participate in the Energy Transition Community Working Group or if you have any questions, please contact APPA’s Energy Transition Staff at [email protected].
