Public Power NextTech Expo

If you want to participate in the expo but haven't reserved a booth, please do so here

The expo hall is open Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will enjoy dedicated time with public power leaders as noted below. Sponsors and exhibitors who are registered for the full conference can attend conference sessions and events outside of the expo hall to learn about the industry and network with attendees.

How to Host an Onsite Event (Sponsors Only)
Complete this form to reserve space for a lunch or reception. Hosting an event is optional. Your event cannot conflict with official conference activities, and you are responsible for all arrangements, promotion, and costs.

Provide Your Company Information for the Mobile App Show Guide
Submit your company information for the mobile app sponsor guide by using your auto-login link that you received in your confirmation email when you chose your booth. If you're not participating in the expo, please email [email protected] for instructions on submitting this information. 

Register Your Complimentary Conference Attendees (Sponsors Only, By March 1)
If you have questions or trouble, please contact [email protected]. Sponsor Registration will not be available until the general event registration is open.

  • After purchasing your sponsorship, go to the Engineering & Operations Conference registration page and log into the website. 
  • You will see a registration ticket labeled "Sponsor Registration." Use this ticket to register your complimentary conference attendees. 
    • The sponsor registration ticket will not appear until the day after you purchase your sponsorship, so you will need to wait 24 hours before using your complimentary registration(s).
    • If you do not see the sponsor registration ticket, and it has been at least one day since you purchased your sponsorship, contact [email protected] for assistance. 
  • The sponsor registration ticket will automatically allow the first X people from your organization who register for that ticket to register for free. (X equals the number of complimentary registrations in your sponsorship package.) 
    • After your complimentary registrations have been claimed, you will still see the sponsor registration ticket, but additional registrations will be charged the regular registration fee (based on membership status). 

Please note: 

  • The sponsor registration ticket is visible to all individuals from your organization if they are logged in to the website. 
    • You can register your complimentary attendees with a sponsor registration, or you can allow your complimentary attendees to register themselves with a sponsor registration. 
    • Whenever anyone from your organizations uses a sponsor registration, it will count toward your total number of complimentary registrations. 
  • You will see the paid registration option even if you have not used all of your complimentary slots. This allows your paying attendees to register while you determine your complimentary registrants. 
  • Sponsor registrations convey the same access to conference events as paid registrations. 
  • Pre-conference seminars are not included with the sponsor registration, but you can register for the seminars at the regular registration fee (based on membership status). 
  • If you need to make changes to a registration, contact [email protected] (for example, if you need to change who will be using one of your complimentary registrations). 

Register Your Complimentary Booth Workers (Exhibiting Companies Only, By March 1)
If you have questions or trouble, please contact [email protected]. Sponsor registrations will not be available until the general event registration is open. 

  • After purchasing your booth, go to the Engineering & Operations Conference registration page and log into the website. 
  • You will see a registration ticket labeled "Booth Worker." Use this ticket to register your booth workers. 
    • The booth worker ticket will not appear until the day after you purchase your booth, so you will need to wait 24 hours before using your complimentary registration(s). 
    • If you do not see this ticket, and it has been at least one day since you purchased your booth, contact [email protected] for assistance. 
  • The booth worker ticket will automatically allow the first X people from your organization who register for that ticket to register as booth workers for free. (X equals the number of booth worker registrations you receive with your booth.)
    • After your complimentary registrations have been claimed, you will still see the booth worker ticket, but additional booth workers will be charged at $100 each. 

Please note: 

  • Booth workers only receive access to the expo and events held in the expo hall. 
  • The booth worker ticket is visible to all individuals from your organization if they are logged in to the website. 
    • You can register your booth staff with a booth worker registration, or you can allow your booth staff to register themselves with a booth worker registration. 
    • Whenever anyone from your organization uses a booth worker registration, it will count toward your total number of complimentary registrations. 
  • If you need to make changes to a registration, contact [email protected] (for example, if you need to change who will be using one of your complimentary booth worker registrations).

  • Email your social media graphics for the pre- and post- event shares on APPA's channels to [email protected] in these dimensions. You can include a one- or two-minute video or a static image:

  • Email your one-minute video, which we'll show during your sponsored general session, in MP4 format to [email protected]

  • Email [email protected] the title, description, and speaker(s) name, title, full contact information, and bio for your 60-minute breakout session. Once we receive this information, we will let you know the date and time for your presentation.

  • Email [email protected] the name of the breakout session where you want us to recognize your support. You can view the conference agenda and the breakout sessions here. Please limit your paragraph description to 50 words.
