OMPA is seeking assistance in studying the potential value of a Demand-Side Management (DSM) program. The goals for the program are to reduce capacity needs, increase load flexibility for market benefit in the Southwest Power Pool, reduce cost to serve load, and meet member city retail customer expectations for greater control over energy usage. The purpose of the study is to develop a clear understanding of the investments in personnel and technology necessary to achieve maximum value and develop a project timeline for development and deployment of the DSM program.
