This report presents information on the type of governing bodies that oversee public power systems, term limits and compensation of governing body members, and the authorities granted to utility governing bodies. The report is based on findings from the American Public Power Association's Governance Survey, which is conducted every five years with publicly owned electric systems across the U.S.
