The PJM Interconnection on July 17 opened the bidding window for its auction to procure capacity for the June 2025 to May 2026 Delivery Year.
The bidding window will close on July 23 and results will be reported on July 30.
PJM’s capacity market, called the Reliability Pricing Model, “ensures long-term grid reliability by securing the appropriate amount of power supply resources needed to meet predicted energy demand,” it said.
