The City of Geary, Oklahoma, in partnership with Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA), recently completed power pole replacement work throughout the town as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and improve the reliability of the community’s electric system, OMPA reported in its Outlet newsletter.
The project supported continued infrastructure maintenance aimed at providing residents and businesses with safer and more dependable electric service, OMPA noted in the March/April issue of the newsletter.
"During the project, residents saw work crews and equipment operating in various areas around the
community while upgrades were underway. City officials worked to minimize disruptions throughout
the process and provided advance notice whenever temporary outages were necessary," the newsletter said.
The city expressed appreciation to residents for their patience and cooperation as improvements to Geary’s electric infrastructure were completed, OMPA noted.
