Construction for Nebraska Public Power District’s Norfolk-Stanton North Project is set to begin in June 2025 with anticipated completion in late 2025.
NPPD announced the final line route for this new eight-mile, 115 kilovolt (kV) transmission line in January 2024 and has since been acquiring easements from landowners along the route and performing tree clearing activities.
The new line incorporates both single-pole wood and steel structures. NPPD’s construction crew will be building the line with support on the foundation work from Dietzel Enterprises, Inc. of Valley, Nebraska.
