Tennessee public power utility Nashville Electric Service has earned a Top Performer designation by the Tennessee Valley Authority for achievements in a number of TVA EnergyRight energy program categories.
Specifically, NES earned a Top Performer designation for achievements in the following TVA EnergyRight energy program categories:
- 1st place in PowerFlex Participants with 4 participants.
- 1st place in Total Demand Response Participants with 228 participants.
- 2nd place in Most Improved Energy Savings (GWh) with a year over year increase of energy savings of 12.72 GWh.
- 3rd place in Total Energy Savings (GWh) with 19.10 GWh of energy savings.
- 5th place in Total Demand Response Capacity (MW) with 21.57 MW of total demand response capacity.
- North Regional Champion in Total Energy Savings (GWh) from Community Programs with 1,908,772 kWh of energy savings.

TVA recognizes the Top Performers among the 153 local power companies it serves.
