The Northeast Public Power Association this month wrapped up another successful Lineworkers Rodeo.
The event was held in Hull, Mass.
“Working with our host utility, Hull Municipal Light Plant, we are proud to have hosted the 17th Annual NEPPA Lineworkers Rodeo event as part of our annual NEPPA RodE&O Conference,” said Mike Hyland, Executive Director for NEPPA.
"Over the course of three and ½ days, we experienced over 250 public power professionals come to Hull for the conference sessions, rodeo and golf outing. The conference focused on utility operations, safety, engineering, and management, while the Rodeo showcases the safe work practices of 16 different teams through out the northeast. To kick things off, we held our annual Benevolent Fund golf outing, where all proceeds benefit utility families in need. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate public power."
