McMinnville Electric System Board Chooses Brittany Davis as General Manager-Elect for Utility

The Board of Public Utilities for Tennessee public power utility McMinnville Electric System recently announced that Brittany Davis is the General Manager-Elect for MES.

Her selection comes ahead of long-time General Manager Rodney Boyd’s retirement expected later this year.

Davis is expected to join the MES team on March 4, 2024.

Davis was selected after a nationwide executive search and hails from Sheffield Utilities in Sheffield, Alabama.

Davis, an electrical engineer, brings to MES over 11 years of experience working in the Tennessee Valley Authority territory, leading the Sheffield Engineering and Operations Department and 7 years working within the industry while completing her education.

MES distributes electricity to more than 8,000 customers in the City of McMinnville, Tennessee.
