Texas public power utility Kerrville Public Utility Board announced the promotion of Amy Dozier to the position of assistant general manager.

Dozier joined KPUB in June 2021 as director of finance, bringing over two decades of experience in finance and accounting. Her professional background includes roles in auditing, corporate accounting and serving as the chief financial officer for the City of Kerrville. She also serves on the board of directors for the Kerrville Public School Foundation and the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas.

The promotion recognizes her contributions to the utility, particularly her instrumental role in advancing its generation project, said Mike Wittler, KPUB general manager & CEO. "Her hard work, leadership and dedication on this monumental initiative will leave a lasting impact on both our organization and the community we serve.”

In her expanded role, Dozier will continue to play a key part in KPUB’s mission of providing safe, reliable and affordable energy to the community.

“Amy’s commitment to excellence and her ability to navigate complex challenges make her an excellent fit for this leadership role,” Wittler added. “We are confident in her continued success and look forward to her contributions as we move forward.”
