A crew from Tennessee public power utility Greeneville Energy Authority recently helped rescue a bear cub that had climbed up one of the utility’s light poles.
The crew responded after the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency requested the utility’s assistance to help bring the cub down safely.
“Our crew was happy to lend a hand, and we're glad to report the cub is safe and sound, now in the care of the TWRA,” the utility said in a Facebook post. “Not exactly a typical work order, but we are here to serve our community in any way we can!”
