Energy New England announced that it is now an Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership certified workplace.

Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership certifications are credited by Forth, backed by the U.S. Department of Energy and recognizes organizations for their leadership in adoption of workplace electric vehicle charging.

This certification recognizes the four level 2 chargers totaling four ports offering charging to employees.

ENE now joins Belmont Municipal Light Department and Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant in achieving this certification.

ENE said it is dedicated to advancing electrification and offer a range of services to support light plants and other organizations.

ENE is the largest wholesale risk management and energy trading organization serving the needs of municipal utilities in New England.

ENE works with numerous businesses, residents, and utilities to help promote the principles of conservation, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, and advances the many benefits available through integrated sustainability planning – including home energy audit programs, electric vehicle programs, wholesale energy procurement and risk management programs, regulatory and lobbying services.
