Energy New England LLC and Utility Services of Vermont announced that Devon Tremont will be leading USV as the next President of USV.
Tremont joined USV in September 2023 as Executive Vice President of Technical Services “and his leadership and dedication throughout the past year have demonstrated his ability to improve USV’s service offerings and provide a desirable workplace for all the employees,” Energy New England and Utility Services of Vermont said.
He most recently was the Lead Resource Analyst at the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant (TMLP) in Taunton, Massachusetts where he led the North American Electric Reliability Corporation compliance activities for TMLP.
He brings hands-on utility experience as a registered Transmission Owner, Generator Owner/Operator and Distribution Provider.
“Devon has proven over his time at TMLP and with his activities at Utility Services, that he is the right person to take the lead in an important organization that provides critical services to our customers. Devon has the leadership and technical skills, that have been displayed since he transitioned to USV, that he is a perfect fit for this leadership role,” said John Tzimorangas, President and CEO of Energy New England, parent company of USV.
USV has served more than 240 electric transmission, generation, and distribution companies and owners of more than 25,000 megawatts of installed electric generating capacity across North America in all aspects of their Electric Reliability Organization activities and requirements through NERC and its six Regional Entities.
