California Community Power, a joint powers authority representing nine community choice aggregators, recently issued a Request for Proposals to procure new cost-effective clean energy and reliability resources.
The RFP seeks proposals for clean generation and energy storage projects that can meet mid-term reliability, resource adequacy and Renewable Portfolio Standard goals.
Additionally, CC Power is interested in a range of projects for potential ownership, leveraging the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Further, CC Power seeks responses to a Request for Information track on emerging technologies such as gas with carbon capture, small modular nuclear reactors, hydrogen, and alternative storage technologies.

Responses are due by Dec. 5, 2025.
