The American Public Power Association is inviting member organizations from Region 9 to nominate candidates for a seat on APPA’s Board of Directors to represent that region on the board. Nominations are due no later than September 11, 2023.
Region 9 covers Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
John Haarlow, CEO and general manager of Snohomish County PUD, resigned his Region 9 Board of Directors seat, effective July 21, 2023, due to his election to Vice Chair of the APPA Board of Directors.
The form to nominate individuals can be found at this link on the association’s website.
The Nominating Committee will meet virtually in September 2023 to consider nominations for the Region 9 Board seat.
The Committee's recommendation for a new Board member will be presented to the association's Board of Directors at its fall meeting held in October 2023.
