AMP on April 6 announced that it has welcomed the Borough of Pitcairn in Pennsylvania as AMP’s newest member.
The borough is located in western Pennsylvania, about 15 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. The borough’s electric system serves more than 1,800 meters.
AMP is the nonprofit wholesale power supplier and services provider for more than 130 Members in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia; as well as the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation, a joint action agency with nine Delaware municipal members.
