Oregon public power utilities Northern Wasco County PUD and Tillamook PUD have received Top Workplaces recognition for 2026.

They were included in the Oregonian's Top Workplaces for 2026.

"Public power has always been about people. That includes our customer-owners and the employees who show up for them every day,” said Roger Kline, General Manager and CEO, Northern Wasco County PUD.

“Being named a Top Workplace two years in a row tells me our team has built something special here, a place where people genuinely care about each other and about this community. When you take care of your people, they take care of the people you serve. Our team proves that every day,” he said.

Along with his role at Northern Wasco, Kline serves as a member of the APPA Board of Directors.

"A Top Workplaces award is especially meaningful because it is based on feedback from our employees, the foundation of our organization and the people who understand firsthand how it operates each day,” said Todd Simmons, Tillamook PUD General Manager.

“Their dedication is what drives Tillamook PUD to serve our customers and create value for our community. This honor reflects what we achieve together,” he said.

Tillamook PUD and Northern Wasco County PUD were also included on the Oregonian's list of Top Workplaces for 2025.
