Snohomish County PUD is working to expand how it supports customers and communities in building a more sustainable future through its new Go Sustainable! initiative.
The program, which launched July 1, creates a way for customers to share sustainability-focused projects, questions and opportunities with the PUD.
Residents and business owners can submit ideas related to environmental sustainability, including energy efficiency, water conservation, habitat restoration and other efforts connected to electricity, water and PUD services.
The PUD’s Customer Environmental Sustainability Goals program helps customers explore and advance environmental stewardship ideas related to electricity, water, and PUD services.
It reviews customer requests to connect customers with existing PUD programs consider new sustainability ideas that aren’t currently offered but may align with our mission and legal authority.
“Our goal is to be transparent, responsive, and thoughtful—while working within the laws and resources that guide a public utility.”
