Washington State's Chelan PUD has ended a public safety power shutoff watch that was issued for the greater Chelan and Manson areas.
Based on the latest weather forecasts, conditions no longer support the need for a PSPS at this time, it said on Aug. 2.
"We will continue to monitor the weather and remain prepared to respond if conditions change," it said.
On July 31, the PUD said it was in a PSPS watch phase and in order to help reduce wildfire risk, there was a potential that it could implement a PSPS on August 1.
