IEEE-USA is seeking applications to apply for the Congressional Electric Grid Policy Fellowship. The fellowship stipend will range from $100k for a brand-new PhD to $200k for those with experience. 

IEEE membership is not required to apply, but if offered the role, membership is necessary (roughly $100). The current deadline to apply is January 9th. To apply follow this link.

IEEE-USA is an organizational unit of IEEE, created in 1973 to support the career and public policy interests of IEEE’s U.S. members. IEEE-USA is primarily supported by an annual assessment paid by U.S. IEEE Members.

The IEEE-USA Congressional Electric Grid Policy Fellowship seeks to augment the capabilities of congressional staff by selecting and placing qualified Fellows with relevant technical expertise in offices or on committees actively working on grid policy. This includes consideration of new and different ways to address challenges to ensure affordable and reliable electricity to power American homes and businesses.
