Public power utilities recently received Fortnightly Top Innovators 2025 Awards at the annual Public Utilities Fortnightly Top Innovators Conference in Washington, D.C.

The Edith Clarke Top Innovator in Reliability of Utility Service was awarded to Arizona public power utility Salt River Project, while the George Westinghouse Top Innovator in Leadership in Innovation award was presented to California public power utility SMUD.

The Francis Upton Top Innovator in Analytics in Utility Service award went to Seattle City Light.

Accepting the awards were:

•    SRP: Jonathan “Jon” Cook (solo award) 
•    Seattle: Anabel Roza (on behalf of herself, Whitman Boutin, and Ruben Diaz)
