Bill Shepherd in August began his new role as General Manager at Greenville Electric Utility System in Texas.
Prior to his new role at GEUS, Shepherd worked at Texas public power utility Denton Municipal Electric as Executive Manager of Business Services.
“The leadership at DME and the opportunities I was given, have been invaluable in learning the dynamic ERCOT market and further preparing me for the role of GM,” Shepherd said in a LinkedIn post.
“I'm looking forward to leading GEUS and working with my industry peers during this exciting time of growth and technological advancement in the electric utility industry,” he wrote.
He also worked more than 25 years at Florida public power utility Gainesville Regional Utilities.
