What is the American Public Power Association (APPA)?

APPA is the voice of not-for-profit, community-owned utilities that power 2,000 towns and cities nationwide. We represent public power before the federal government to protect the interests of the more than 54 million customers that public power utilities serve, and the 96,000 people they employ. APPA advocates and advises on electricity policy, technology, trends, training, and operations. Our members strengthen their communities by providing superior service, engaging citizens, and instilling pride in community-owned power.

What is the Joint Action Conference?

This is public power’s meeting for joint action agency professionals to meet and discuss emerging policy, regulatory, and power supply issues, and other topics related to the governance and management of joint action agencies.

To secure your sponsorship: 

1. Select your sponsorship package from the options below.

2. Purchase your sponsorship package. You should receive a confirmation email with all the details you need for the event within 24 hours of purchasing. If you don't receive this email, please check your spam folder, or contact [email protected]

3. If your package includes a spot in the sponsor showcase, please view the floorplan and put your desired spot on hold for APPA approval.

4. Email your logo in these three formats to [email protected]. If your logo is registered, please send the version that contains the ®.

The only way to secure a spot in the Sponsor Showcase is through sponsorship.

You will enjoy dedicated time with public power leaders as noted below, but you’re welcome to schedule individual appointments or engage drop-in visitors outside of these hours. Additionally, you can attend conference sessions and events, so you can learn about the industry and network with attendees during non-showcase hours.
