Webinar Description

Does your utility own diesel generation assets? If so, you may need to replace your emissions monitoring system to maintain compliance with the EPA’s RICE-NESHAP rule. Get prepared by tuning into this webinar to hear how a 5,000 customer utility used its own staff to replace its diesel emissions monitoring system with one that could be maintained by its own staff. Waverly Utilities in Iowa used a Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories 2411 Programmable Automation Controller and their existing SCADA system to create a new emissions monitoring system. Why recreate the wheel? Learn from Waverly’s example. Join us on this webinar to learn how they managed the challenges they faced and implemented the solutions they discovered.

An update and brief history of APPA’s work on diesel generator-related regulations will kick off the webinar.

DEED members may review project information located on the DEED Project Database.
