2 – 3:30 p.m. Eastern
This event is free of charge for utilities that participated in the 2017 Public Power Insurance Benchmarking Survey. The webinar is open to non-participants for a fee.
Webinar Description
In 2017, the American Public Power Association and Wortham Power Gen Insurance conducted the Public Power Insurance Benchmarking Survey. More than 100 utilities shared data on what type of insurance they purchase, from which companies, for how much, and for what terms. The survey also captured data on what types of new insurance offerings public power needs. The webinar speaker will report on the survey findings and provide detailed benchmarking data across the insurance spectrum, including property & casualty, worker’s compensation, and cybersecurity programs. The speaker will also provide perspective on emerging trends in the insurance industry and offer specific guidelines for how public power utilities can affordably and effectively improve their risk profile.
Through the benchmarking data from the national public power survey, you will learn how your industry peers are addressing a wide variety of their insurance needs and how to measure your own utility’s insurance coverage thresholds and risk exposure. You’ll also learn how to take advantage of new insurance strategies and programs coming on line in the public power sector.
Attendees will receive a copy of the Public Power Insurance Benchmarking Survey Results
