Webinar Overview
This webinar is the inaugural session introducing the topics covered in the Risk Management Toolkit, developed by APPA’s Risk Management Working Group. It will focus on the first chapter of the toolkit, which emphasizes leadership buy-in and the risk identification process—essential initial steps for launching risk management programs in public power utilities. The session will provide an overview of Volume I of the toolkit, showcasing how its concepts and resources apply to real-world activities within an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, as demonstrated by public power utility members. Attendees will learn how to implement the toolkit in practical situations and gain actionable best practices to advocate for or enhance their existing ERM programs.
