NREL Distribution Transformer Long-Term Demand Study Webinar

Supply chain issues continue to affect many critical components of the U.S. electric sector.  Lead times that were a few weeks are turning into months and years.  The U.S. Department of Energy recently engaged the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to analyze long-term national distribution transformer demand trends to better understand the duration current supply chain constraints will last.  On August 2, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET, APPA will host a discussion between our public power members and the NREL study team. The session will allow NREL to share study findings as well as field questions from participants. This is an opportunity for member technical experts and decision-makers to engage with NREL to fully understand what level of certainty it can provide stakeholders to augment their own internal analyses.
