The electric power industry will be greatly affected by the future of the domestic and world economies. At the 2013 APPA National Conference, Daniel Gross—Global Business Editor of Newsweek and The Daily Beast, and a former columnist for The New York Times—will draw on his years of experience interpreting the machinations of global economics and describe what’s ahead for the American economy. He will talk about how the United States is positioned to take advantage of an economic evolution that will re-establish our country as a world economic power and the steps needed to take maximum advantage of the coming changes.

Daniel Gross
One of the most widely read financial and economic writers working today, Daniel Gross has worked as a reporter at The New Republic and Bloomberg News, and has contributed hundreds of features, news articles, book reviews and opinion pieces to over 60 magazines and newspapers.
