APPA’s 2013 CEO Roundtable will feature Robert Glennon, a leading expert on water policy, who will lead a session examining water problems in the United States, the energy-water nexus, and what our nation can do to reclaim and conserve this finite resource. America is facing a water crisis, including reduced groundwater, threats to rivers, danger to many of the nation’s lakes, and dangerous economic consequences, stemming from profligate water consumption for agriculture, power generation, manufacturing and residential use, among other factors.
