Jim VandeHei, co-founder, president, and CEO of POLITICO newspaper, will be the keynote speaker at the March 11 Legislative & Resolutions Committee luncheon at APPA’s 2014 Legislative Rally.

VandeHei plans to replicate his media model in New York.

Widely recognized as the most innovative and influential media company in Washington, POLITICO, the all-politics-all-the-time site, has been extremely successful since its 2006 launch. More than six million unique readers visit the site each month, and more than 30,000 of the nation’s political leaders read its Washington-based newspaper.

VandeHei is also the CEO and president of Capital New York and runs a company of 300 reporters and media professionals in Washington. He plans to replicate his media model in New York City.

With a candid, close-up view of what really happens in Washington politics and governance, VandeHei will offer rally participants a dynamic take on politics, policy, and the art of navigating the modern media madness.

The rally will take place at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C., March 10-12. For more information and to register, visit PublicPower.org/LegislativeRally.
